Hi-Beau is one of the few local Singapore companies in its category that invests in research and development supported by well-established local and overseas laboratories and institutes.
With growing sales and rapid expansion of Avalon product ranges, it needed to more sharply position and differentiate each range to avoid customer confusion as well as limit product cannibalisation.
What we did
After a review of the entire Avalon product family, a Portfolio Brand Architecture was adopted to more clearly communicate the relationship and positioning between the various product categories.
Sub-brands were developed for non-core categories so as not to dilute the brand equity of the core categories, while the packaging design within the core categories were revamped to emphasise their differentiation in the market. Through strong branding and creative packaging design, Hi-Beau brands have become award winning best sellers.
