Strongbow x DFS Activation

Objectives

To introduce a new product by Strongbow Cider – Strongbow Medium Dry; the refined sparkling semi-sweet cider. The launch campaign set out to increase general public awareness for the new product.

Campaign Concept

Collaborating with DFS, the main idea behind this activation is to create a disruptive sampling display in Changi Airport.

What we did

Vespa, with its captivating style was considered. As the subject of high fashion, photography shoots and a mainstay of iconic styles, this increases the interaction with the passer-by by giving off the cool vibe. With probably the most hipster way to serve ciders, this further attracts the passer by to have their photos taken with a chic vintage scooter for their social media platforms.

POPPER was involved in the design, to sourcing & liaising with relevant vendors, and eventually the setup. 2 sets of Vespa Sidecars were rented from a vendor, and have a makeover to represent the product – Silver. A cooler box was incorporated into the seat of the sidecar, so that drinks can be chilled inside during the sampling activation. Subsequently in October, another set of display was used across the DFS stores at different terminals, but this time, with an icicle tricyle.
